South East Block Party 2023

On Friday 21 April 2023, Weave together with Randwick Council and Kobie Dee held South East Block Party on Bidjigal Land at Coral Sea Park Maroubra. For the third year in a row, #SouthEastBlockParty has been a celebration of community, connection, young people and music. This year we had games and activities, food trucks and live performances by Kobie Dee, Tasman Keith, Billy Maree, Sailor Goon, Lil Arts, Dylan Voller, KP Hydes and Emerald Brunt.

We thank each and every person who came together to make this day so special. We loved seeing so many families and people connected to Weave at South East Block Party celebrating with their community.

At Weave, we know the power of genuine community connection and we created #SouthEastBlockParty with Kobie Dee and Randwick council to celebrate the strengths of the communities we work with. We are so proud and excited to see this event grow each year.

We acknowledge Kobie’s music, advocacy and message and the inspiration he provides to young people in his communities and people following his journey. A true role model!
